Lynn Goldstein is the founder of INDICIUM CONSULTING LLC. She has a longstanding track record in strategic thinking and problem-solving, especially in Privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Responsibility, Global Data Protection, Advanced Data Analytics, and Information Management. Her career in financial services spanned three decades at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) and its heritage banks. After being the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy General Counsel of JPMC, Lynn became the Chief Data Officer at a startup at New York University, the Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP).
Lynn’s experience in both Fortune 50 and startup firms gives her familiarity with privacy solutions, AI governance, and digital responsibility. From 2018 to 2024, she was the head of GDPRsimple, a SaaS product that helped small and medium sized businesses implement, and demonstrate their implementation, of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Lynn also taught a GDPR Practicuum course for two years at her law school. Lynn’s combination of legal expertise, in-house background, technical competence, privacy strategy and compliance experience and her understanding of the needs of businesses in numerous sectors gives her the unique capability to help businesses find practical, actionable, and competitive solutions to their privacy, AI, digital, and data governance problems.
Lynn currently is an Arbitrator for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. From 2014 to 2024, Lynn was a Senior Strategist at the Information Accountability Foundation, a global information policy think tank; from 2015 to 2021, she was a member of the Department of Homeland Security Data Protection and Integrity Advisory Committee; and from 2019 to 2021, she was a mentor in the Arizona State University startup program .
